Tumakuru: An Assistant Clerk at Taluk Co-Operative Office, a close aide of Former MLA, died on Thursday February 9.

The deceased has been identified as Prakash (40). Prakash had been working as an Assistant clyerk in Kunigal Taluk Office for many years. The first being in 2008 as a Government Assistant to the then MLA B. B. Ramaswamy Gowda.

Prakash, who was reportedly staying in a rented house in Tumakuru after he was unwell recently, died on Wednesday. The door of his house was locked from inside.
