Tumakuru: The Police has seized about 61 kgs of ganja grown near R. Achchammanahalli Village at Thirumani Gram Panchayat of Nagalamadike Hobli in the Taluk.

Siddappa (67), a resident of the Village, has been arrested.

A police team led by Circle Inspector Kantha Reddy conducted the raid based on a information that ganja was grown on a land adjacent to solar plant Block 34.

The accused has been remanded to judicial custody on Saturday November 5 and a case has been registered at Thirumani Police Station.
