Tumakuru: A child was killed and four others were seriously injured in a road accident between a lorry and an autorickshaw on State Highway 33 T. M. Road, Gavimatha near here on Saturday January 14.

The deceased has been identified as Tanvika (3), a native of Heggare in Bengaluru. Aishwarya, Saraswathi, Muniyamma, Soumya and Shivaraju were seriously injured.

The injured are undergoing treatment at a hospital.
