Tumakuru: The first death anniversary of late Shivakumara Swamiji of Siddaganga mutt in Tumakuru will be held on Sunday, January 19.

Over 1 lakh devotees from across South India are expected to take part in the event.

The 112-year-old Shivakumara Swamiji died on January 19, 2019 after a brief illness.

Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, former Chief Ministers Siddaramaiah, HD Kumaraswamy, former DCM G Parameshwar and others will be participating in the event.

As part of the first death anniversary rituals, lunch will be offered to all devotees between 10 am and 11 pm.
