Tumkur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Tumkur on September 24.

He will inaugurate the India Food Park established on a 100-acre land at Vasantha Narasapura off Bangalore-Pune Road.

Deputy Commissioner K S Sathyamurthy, said he held a preliminary meeting for the event. He may arrive at 12 noon for the one-hour programme, he added.

According to sources, Modi will also call on the centenarian seer Shivakumara Swamiji at Siddaganga mutt.
