Tumakuru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bidarehall Kaval in Gubbi taluk, about 35 km from here, on Jan 2 (Saturday) to lay foundation stone of HAL Helicopter manufacturing unit.

Prime minister would arrive in Bidarehalla Kaval at 3pm and would attend the hour-long foundation stone laying ceremony, said Deputy Commissioner K P Mohan Raj told reporters here on Saturday.

Four helipads have been built on the premises of HAL unit ahead of PM’s visit to the district, the DC said.
