Bengaluru: Hundreds of residents of villages surrounding Chintamani Taluk in Chikkaballapura District spent entire night outside their homes after they experienced tremors.

Tremors were felt in the area around 11.00 pm, following a loud explosion. People ran out of their houses in fear. They spent time outside the house in fear after experiencing the tremors a couple of times.

Officials from the Revenue and Police Department visited the villages. Geologists are expected to visit the villages on Wednesday November 10 to study the cause of the tremors.
