
Bengaluru: The South Western Railway (SWR) has released a detailed statement about the alleged hand-made grenade scare at KSR Railway Station that occurred on the morning of May 31.
According to the SWR authorities, the suspicious object was found near the trolley path on Platform No 1.
“As the passengers raised an alarm regarding the object, the Railway Protection Force swung into action immediately. They cordoned off the entire area and all the trains were searched but no other objects were found,” informed authorities.
“Train movement, except on PF No 1 and 2 was normal. The suspicious object was handed over to the Bomb Disposal Squad at 9.55 AM. Now the service restored on both Plat Forms no 1 and 2,” informed authorities.
