Bangalore :R.V.Deshpande expressed dissatisfaction at the Tourism department’s development and functioning.

Compared to neighbouring states state department is lacking in many areas. Govt will work towards developing the department by increasing income.

He was speaking after inaugurating the Tibet Utsav and 79th birth anniversary of  the Dalai Lama organised by Central Tibetan Administration and Tourist Department at Art Council.

Other states have 12% revenue whereas our department income is only 3 per cent. So officials need to take action in developing the department.
 
He also welcomed the tibetians to the Utsav and also suggested to visit other tourist spots in Bangalore.

All the visitors from different countries, not only tibetians must encourage our culture, he said.
