Bengaluru: In a tragic incident, a one-year-old baby died after falling into a bathtub in the Visvesvaraya Nagar area of Maddur on Friday, April 26 evening.

According to the Maddur police, who registered an unnatural death case (UDR), informed that the deceased toddler is identified as Belli.

Belli, according to the police, is the daughter of Raju and Manasa who are residents of Vivekanandanagar in Maddur.

Manasa had been to her mother’s house on Friday and while she was preparing snacks, the toddler entered into the bathroom and began playing with the bathtub. This was when she accidentally fell into the tub and died.

The incident came to light when the family members began to look for the toddler.
