Bengaluru: The age-old Indian affinity for gold remains strong, continuing the tradition of purchasing this precious metal. Today, the current prices of gold and silver have decreased, marking a decline not just in India but also in various other nations.

Only a handful of nations, like Singapore, have witnessed a minor increase, while Malaysia has maintained steady gold prices over recent weeks. In India, both gold and silver prices have consistently dropped. Currently, 22-carat gold is selling at Rs 55,450 for 10 grams, and 24-carat gold at Rs 60,490. Meanwhile, 100 grams of silver are priced at Rs 7,240. In Bengaluru, 10 grams of gold are retailing at Rs 55,450, and 100 grams of silver at Rs 7,175.
