Bengaluru: Among eight persons arrested by Chennai police under the charges of links with various terrorist groups, three of them are from Bengaluru.

These eight persons were arrested in Chennai on Thursday, January 9, and have been sent to judicial custody for further interrogation.

According to sources in the city police department, their Chennai counterparts shared the details of the three Bengalureans arrested for their alleged link with terror groups.

“The state police already sent a team to Chennai to verify the information shared by the Tamil Nadu police,” informed sources.
