Bengaluru: After meeting with Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday January 2, Revenue Minister R. Ashoka said that soon the Government will announce stricter restrictions to bring to control the spread of Coronavirus in the State.
With the increase in Covid – 19 cases it seems like third wave in the State is inveitable. In this backdrop, and night curfew State ending on Friday January 7, Ashoka said a Covid -19 high power committee will either be held on Tuesday January 4 and Wednesday January 5 to discuss the further action. First we will urge people to cooperate, failing which lockdown might be inevitable,” he added.
CM Bommai too from Belagavi said that in this stage we are getting ready the ground plan to ensure that there are enough beds, ICU beds and oxygen supply to save lives. Health Deparemt has already been instructed to this effect, he added.
