Bengaluru: A brazen theft took place as cash totaling nearly ₹14 lakh was stolen from a parked BMW car. The incident occurred when an individual smashed the driver-side window, gained access to the vehicle, seized the cash, and swiftly fled on a motorcycle with an accomplice. The entire incident was captured on a nearby CCTV camera.

The footage revealed two masked men near the BMW X5 sedan, a vehicle valued at over a crore. Both individuals concealed their identities with masks. One of them was on the motorcycle, while the other surveyed the surroundings. Using a tool, the latter shattered the car’s window, enabling him to enter. Only his legs were visible as he climbed inside. Shortly after, he emerged holding a packet, joined his accomplice on the motorcycle, and swiftly escaped the scene.

Law enforcement authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident, although no arrests have been made thus far. A theft case has been registered, and the police are actively searching for the culprits.
