Bengaluru: A special court on Saturday January 23, remanded six terror suspects arrested from various parts of the state on Friday, to four-day National Investigation Agency (NIA) custody, to interrogate them.

The NIA teams, with the help of the local police had nabbed the four suspects from Bengaluru and one each from Tumakuru and Mangaluru.
According to sources, only five arrested namely Asif, Ahad, Afzal, Mohammed Sohil and Syed Mujaid Pasha were brought to the court today, while Najmal Huda from Mangaluru was brought to the city on transit remand.
According to sources, security has been beefed up across the state and special security has been deployed at sensitive areas in
the wake of Republic Day celebration.
