
Bengaluru: The state health department has started equipping taluk hospitals to treat COVID19 patients.
According to the sources in the state health department, each taluk hospital will have 30 beds exclusively for the COVID19 patients with reports of steep increase in the disease in the state.
According to the sources, the health department will monitor the treatment at these hospitals from Bengaluru through a dedicated health monitoring system.
Meanwhile, the health department made it clear that there is no shortage of PPE kits or face masks in the state. “All the district hospitals are now provided with the required number of protection kits to ensure that there shall not be any shortage,” said an officer.
