Suttur Seer’s brother is new KPSC chairman (in-charge)

Bengaluru: Shadakshari Swamy, brother of Suttur seer Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamy has been appointed as the new chairman (in-charge) of the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), which plays a key role in various government appointments.

A decision in this regard was taken during the state Cabinet meeting held on Thursday evening.

Incumbent chairman T Shyam Bhat had retired from this from this constitutional post on December 8. “The cabinet also authorised Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy to finalise the new chairman for the KPSC,” informed a minister.

Shadakshari Swamy is presently serving the KPSC as a member.
