Bengaluru: Congress leader D K Shivakumar received a rousing welcome from party workers and his supporters at the Kempegowda International Airport on Saturday, October 26.

Speaking about the celebrations, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president Dinesh Gundu Rao told reporters here, that DKShi received such a thunderous welcome because of the work he has done for the people and the party.

“Today, D K Shivakumar’s supporters welcomed him because of the work he has done for the people and the party,” he said, as reported by ANI.

It can be recalled that DKShi was granted conditional bail by the Delhi High Court on October 23, in connection with an alleged money laundering case. He was kept in the Tihar Jail till then. The Enforcement Directorate, on Friday, had challenged the bail in the Supreme Court. He was

He was given a rousing welcome with garlands and showers of flowers’ petals and was taken in a procession from the airport till the KPCC office. As the procession was causing a lot of traffic woes, the procession was discontinued and DKShi went the rest of the way in a car.
