Bengaluru: A massive protest held at the Maharani College campus in Malleswaram took an ugly turn when protesters divided themselves into two groups and began quarreling against each other.

The students were protesting against transfer of two lecturers and were hence demanding the suspension of their principal.
However, fight broke out between Arts and Commerce factions over some unknown reason.

Though the cops arrived at the spot on time, they only became mute spectators.
