Bengaluru: No death due to Coronavirus was registered in the State for the second consecutive day on Saturday April 2. However, State recorded 34 new positive cases, and the total death remained at 40,054.

According to State Health Department, it was in Bengaluru Urban District, 31 positive cases were detected while three infections were found in Mysuru.

In all 72 people were discharged, and active cases stood at 1,516. The positivity rate for on Saturday was 0.19 per cent.
