Bangalore :State Government warned that it would take strict action against officials misusing computers for watching pornography during office hours.
“I am not aware of the matter. If there is any material to show that the officials had misused computers for watching pornography, we will take stringent action,” Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister T B Jayachandra.
The government will not tolerate this kind of behaviour from officials as the people of the state had witnessed some legislators watching pornography during the assembly session last year, Jayachandra said.
CBI had found that the internet protocol with kar.nic.in was extensively used by government employees to view pornography, particularly from Vidhana Soudha, the state secretariat, when its cyber experts held anti-terrorism surveillance, according to the report.
