Bengaluru: Karnataka Congress President D K Shivakumar alleged that the state government has directed all hospitals to reduce Covid-19 testing by 50% to bring down the number of daily fresh cases. 

Speaking to a media person on Saturday May 15 he said that the ICMR has started to ramp up the testing. The more we test, the more awareness. However, the government’s move is wrong to reduce the number of tests to show fewer cases,” he alleged.

We as the opposition will cooperate with the government, but tolerate their wrong-doings, he stressed.
