Bengaluru: The state government has favoured an increase in the 50% limit in reservation.

Earlier, the Supreme Court had sought the state’s opinion in this regard.

On March 22 Monday, the state cabinet decided to seek to increase the reservation limit. The state government submitted its written statement even in the Supreme Court on Monday.

With demand for reservation coming from several sections of the society, the government decided to seek an increase in the cap.
