Bengaluru: The expulsion order of Kampli MLA J N Ganesh was revoked by the state Congress here on Wednesday, May 29.

This decision was taken after the Karnataka State In-charge and All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary K C Venugopal held a meeting with KPCC President Dinesh Gundu Rao and CLP leader Siddaramaiah.

There have been attempts to take all the rebel Congress MLAs unhappy with the functioning of state coalition government of Congress-Janata Dal (S) into confidence.

It may be recalled that in the month of January, this year, Kampli Ganesh was expelled from the party after he had physically assaulted Vijayanagara Assembly Constituency MLA Anand Singh in the Eagleton Resort, when they were kept there fearing ‘Operation Lotus’.
