Bengaluru: Speaker Kagodu Timmappa on Saturday urged all the members of the Legislative assembly to focus on important issues pertaining to the state instead of wasting time by indulging in unnecessary debates like ‘Watch row’.
Speaking to media persons in the city, Speaker appealed to the legislators to focus on issues like drought and drinking water problems ailing several districts.
He also stressed on compulsory attendance by the MLAs. Thimmappa hoped that this year, the session will be conducted for at least 60 days as last year session was not convened for all of the 60 days.
The session will be held between February 29 and March 5. Thimmappa said that as many as 818 questions and 30 notices under Rule 351, had been received.
