Bengaluru: Indians are hysteric about their political icons and in a bizarre incident that holds mirror to this madness, a 35-year-old man cut his little finger and offered it at Tirupathi temple as an offering paying gratitude to the Lord Almighty for the bail that was granted to Congress President Sonia
Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi in connection to the National Herald Case.

Induvalu Suresh, a businessman from Ramanagaram, near Bengaluru has been hailed as ‘Ekalavya’ after this act.

It is said that Suresh went to Tirupathi on December 25, 2015 and put his amputated little finger in to the donation box after rolling it inside a Rs 1,000 denomination currency note.

“The entire (Congress) party was worried. So I took a vow that I will donate my finger if Gandhis were granted bail in the case,” said Suresh.

As this news spread, Suresh was summoned by Karnataka Housing minister MH Ambareesh for a meeting at his residence at JP Nagar.
