Bengaluru: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the murder of activist, journalist Gauri Lankesh has detained two people, whose face bears similarities to the sketch released by them in Gadag.

According to the sources, a local resident of Gadag whose name has been kept confidential alerted the Gadag SP about the two persons whose faces are similar to the sketches released by the SIT. The SIT authorities nabbed the two persons based on the information shared by the Gadag SP

Both the pserons are under SIT custody since last 15 days, informed sources. Meanwhile the SIT sources declined to share any information in this regard.
