Bengaluru: In an attempt to raise funds for victims of avoidable blindness, Sightsavers India will be hosting a two-hour comedy relay “Ruckus Night 3.0” at the Good Shepherd Auditorium near Residency Road, Bengaluru on August 10.
The charity event will witness continuous sets from popular Indian stand-up comedians Atul Khatri, Anirban Dasgupta, and Azeem Banatwalla.
Sightsavers is an international NGO whose main aim is to eliminate avoidable blindness while fighting for the rights of the disabled in more than 30 countries. The comedy night is being organized by the Indian division of Sightsavers.
The money from the event will be used to set up vision centres across the country. These Centres will be equipped with high-quality eye care equipment that will be freely accessible to anyone suffering from vision impairment.
The organisers urge everyone to ‘Stand up for Sight’ by purchasing tickets to the comedy relay. The event promises to relieve the attendees of the stresses of daily life while also contributing to a good cause.
