Mysuru: “If Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and senior Congress leader C M Ibrahim keep speaking the way they are doing, I will win without campaigning”, said V Srinivas Prasad who will be contesting Nanjangud by-election from BJP party.

Addressing the media in Mysuru and replying to MP Druvanarayan’s allegation that he had received financial support from Siddaramaiah, Prasad said, “I was not the only person to receive money. Most of them in the party received equal amount of money. It is a common practice in the opposition party to receive money during elections.”

Lashing out at the Congress leaders, he said, “PWD Minister Dr H C Mahadevappa has lost his mind after he failed to make his son contest in the Nanjangud by-election. Very soon I will give a fitting reply to all my detractors”.
