Shake up in the state’s police department, six officers transferred

Bengaluru: The state government on Tuesday initiated a  shake up in the police department,  transferring  six IPS officers of Superintendent of Police rank with immediate effect.
Abhishek Goyal,  Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crimes, Bengaluru City,  is transferred with immediate effect and posted  as Deputy Commissioner of Police, City Armed Reserve, Headquarters, Bengaluru. Kaushlendra Kumar,  Superintendent of Police, Shivamogga District, is transferred as Superintendent of Police, Special Investigation Team, Karnataka Lokayukta, Bengaluru, Raman Gupta, Superintendent of Police, Tumakuru District, is transferred  as Superintendent of Police, Hassan District.

R  Ramesh, IPS (KN-2006), Deputy Commissioner of Police, City Armed Reserve, Headquarters, Bengaluru is transferred  as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crimes, Bengaluru City. Ruvi D Chinnannavar, Superintendent of Police, Hassan District,  is transferred as Superintendent of Police, Shivamogga.  Karthik Reddy,  is posted as Superintendent of Police, Tumakuru District.

At the same time,  Patil Vinayak Vasanth Rao,  Assistant Superintendent of Police, waiting for posting, is promoted to SP rank and posted  as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Law & Order, Mysuru City.
