Bengaluru: Ramamurthy Nagar police have arrested a 26-year-old event manager for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl after offering her a glass of milk laced with sedative on February 5.

The police have identified the accused as Pragadish Kapoor, The police arrested the accused within a few hours of the victim filing a complaint.

According to the police, the 17-year-old victim, who is originally from Mumbai, had come to Bengaluru to get a degree in fashion designing. The police said Kapoor lured her into his house by promising her a modeling assignment. On February 5, the accused took the victim to his house on the pretext of discussing the assignment and allegedly offered her a glass of milk spiked with a sedative.

The police said Kapoor allegedly sexually assaulted the girl when she was unconscious and also took a video of the incident.
