Bengaluru: As many as seven new coronavirus cases were reported from the state on Saturday, April 11. All are contacts of previously identified COVID-19 cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, five cases are from Mysuru, one is from Bengaluru and one from Bidar.
The details of the patients are as follows:
Patient 208 is a 32-year-old man from Bengaluru and is a contact of Patient 196.
Patients 209 (a 46-year-old man), 210 (a 43-year-old man), 212 (a 27-year-old man), 213 (a 31-year-old man) and 214 (a 26-year-old man) are all contacts of Patient 88, who is an employee at the pharmaceutical company. They are all from Mysuru.
Patient 211 is a 50-year-old woman and wife of Patient 122‘s brother. She is from Bidar.
There are a total of 171 active COVID-19 cases in the state. The highest number of active cases are in Bengaluru (52) and second in Mysuru (45).
Of the 214 cases, six are deaths and 37 are discharged.
