Bengaluru: A small time Kannada cine artist was found dead in a suspicious manner at her Kachohalli residence on Tuesday morning, March 1.

Shruti(24) is the deceased and has acted in few Kannada tele serials including ‘Avanu mattu Shravani’ telecasted on a private TV channel.

According to police sources, Shruti attended a party on Monday night with her friend named Srikanth.

Meanwhile, it is said that both indulged in a verbal spat over personal issues and later Srikanth walked out of the party midway. Within few minutes Shruti also left the place and travelled back home in a cab, police sources said.

The incident came to light when her parents reached home after their repeated calls to her were not answered between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Nelamangala police are investigating the case and are yet to ascertain whether its a suicide or a murder.

Shruti was married for more than a year now with a person called Madan and both used to frequently argue over Shruti’s outings with her friend Srikanth.
