Bengaluru: Senior IPS officer Alok Kumar, who is facing a CBI investigation involving the phone-tapping scandal, reportedly met a senior RSS functionary at the RSS office in the Chamarajapete, leading to a number of rumours.

According to sources, Alok Kumar met the leader in the afternoon at the RSS office for over 30 minutes.

Neither Alok Kumar nor the RSS has issued any statements regarding this meeting.

It can be recalled that last week, the CBI had grilled Kumar besides raiding his residence and office as part of the investigation.
