Bengaluru: The Department of Public Instructions (DPI) in an order dated Thursday June 16 has asked schools in the State to shut for two to three days in case of more than 10 students are infected with Covid – 19 or have Covid – 19 symptoms.
The DPI has instructed that if more than 10 students show Covid – 19 symptoms or are infected then the school should be sanitised thoroughly. Further, he has stated that an infected need not attend physical classes and take holidays for few days. The loss of classes should be compensated in the coming Government holidays, the DPI has ordered.
Strict instructions are given to school authorities to ensure that students between 12 to 14 years of are vaccinated.
