Bengaluru: The two-day Common Entrance Test (CET) in the state will be held today and tomorrow after the Supreme Court adjourned the hearing on the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) to Thursday.

The confusion regarding the exams still continues to haunt the students. The CET is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority, for admissions to professional courses including medical and engineering. There are apprehensions if the CET performance will count for admissions as the apex court is yet to decide on making NEET compulsory for this academic year.  

The Supreme Court on Tuesday said that it was no hurry to decide on pleas submitted by States against making NEET mandatory.
