Bengaluru: In a big embarrassment to the ruling party BJP, party MLC, and Senior Leader A. H. Vishwanath, a Former Minister has alleged that VHP and RSS are behind the Hijab and Halal controversy which has hit the State now.

“I am a BJP leader. But I am telling the truth. VHP and RSS are behind this controversy,” he alleged. He also said that Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa must intervene now to resolve these issues.

“Halal, and Hijab are not new. They are practiced for the last few centuries. When B. S. Yediyurappa was the CM, he was not allowing these kinds of developments,” he said. He urged BSY to intervene immediately and resolve the crisis as it is affecting the State’s name
