Bengaluru: In a big embarrassment to the ruling JDS, the Income Tax Department authorities seized Rs.1.20 lakhs from a security vehicle of PWD minister HD Revanna near Chennambika theatre in Holenarasipura on Tuesday night.

The money was seized as there were no documents. According to the sources, at the time of the raids, driver Chandraiah, police constables and a person by name Ravi were inside the vehicle.

This news sent shock waves across the state as money was seized from the close associates of the PWD minister Revanna, whose son Prajwal Revanna is contesting from the Hassan Lok Sabha constituency as an alliance candidate.
