Bengaluru: A notorious rowdy-sheeter was hacked to death by a rival gang on Saturday night in the Konanakunte police station limits, owing to long-standing enmity.
The deceased has been identified as Jayanth.
As per reports, Jayanth was partying with his friend Lokesh on Saturday night. When the duo were returning home, they were intercepted by a five-member gang who came in a car and brutally attacked Jayanth with lethal weapons. The gang, however faced a hiccup when they tried to flee the scene as the car in which they had come would not start owing to some technical reasons, forcing them to retreat from the scene on foot with the weapons still in their hands.
A Subramanyapura police personnel saw one of the assailants, Pawan running with a weapon in his hand and arrested him. During an inquiry, he confessed to the crime.
Old enmity reason for murder:
The murder plot for Jayanth was laid by Ramu due to old enmity. In 2015 Jayanth had attempted to murder Ramu in the Subramanya Police station limits. Hence, to avenge this, Ramu and his his friends plotted Jayanth’s murder.
