Bengaluru: The state government is likely to cancel the transfer order of Karnataka Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board Commissoner Rohini Sindhuri.

According to highly placed sources, the transfer order is likely to be revoked as even Congress leader and former chief minister Siddaramaiah opposes the move.

“Sindhuri blamed a senior bureaucrat in her letter to the Additional Chief Secretary. The officer named in the letter, to save face, is now pressurising the state government to cancel her transfer. So, the government is expected to cancel her transfer,” said a senior officer privy to the developments.
