Bengaluru: All medical, dental, AYUSH, paramedical, nursing and pharmacy colleges affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) will reopen from December 1.
The administration of all colleges, as well as the students, have been asked by Minister for Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Dr K Sudhakar to strictly stick to the COVID-19 guidelines set by the government after the reopening.
Taking to Twitter, Dr Sudhakar wrote, “Karnataka Government has decided to reopen all the medical, dental, AYUSH, paramedical, nursing and pharmacy colleges affiliated to RGUHS from 1st December. I request the administration of colleges & students 2 strictly adhere to the guidelines issued by the government”.

Recently, standardized operating procedure (SOP) as per the UGC guidelines were issued by the Higher Education Department as degree, engineering, and diploma colleges in the state will reopen from November 17.
It can also be recalled that the Central Government already issued guidelines to allow the opening of research laboratories and libraries in universities and educational institutions for higher research.
