Reservation for Farmers’ children upped to 50% in Agri Universities: Min B C Patil

Bengaluru: Agriculture universities in the State will reserve 50% of their seats to farmers’ children, said Agriculture Minister B. C. Patil.
 
Patil recently had held a meeting regarding the same with agriculture universities. The proposal was then tabled before the Cabinet and at the Cabinet meeting on Monday June 21.
 
Earlier, 40% seats were reserved for the same.
