Bengaluru: Pollution is a serious concern in our nation and the situation does not seem to get better anytime soon. Enough steps are not taken to deal with pollution and things are getting worse each day.

Bellandur lake in Bengaluru, known for its water pollution, continues to froth up every now and then. The condition of the lake has worsened through the years, and recently the lake even caught fire.

Actress Rashmika Mandanna did an underwater photoshoot in the polluted lake to raise awareness about its water pollution.

The actress tweeted, “Well wasn’t aware of this till we had to actually go and shoot this in Bellandur lake..which like really broke my heart, and imagine few years down the line..it’s the same case everywhere else.. I’d rather not want to be in that space.. I just wanted to share.”
