Chennai/Bengaluru: Tamil cinema Superstar Rajinikanth requested the Kannadigas to cooperate for the smooth release of his much-expected movie “Kaala” in Karnataka on Thursday, June 7.
“I have done nothing wrong. Don’t disturb those who want to see the movie. Everyone should cooperate”, Rajinikanth requested the Kannadigas in Kannada. “The Supreme Court of India decided about the formation of Cauvery Water Management Board. I have done nothing wrong. I just mentioned it”, he said.
Meanwhile, Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy said that the government would follow the High Court order regarding the release of the movie. “The film distributors have requested for an opportunity to release the movie. But, I have made it clear to them that film’s release is not a good idea under the present circumstances”, he added.
The CM also said that many organisations had requested not to release the movie in the state.
