Bengaluru: Rains lashed several districts on Saturday giving a much needed relief to the residents from the rising temperature.

Chikkamagaluru received heavy rainfall for nearly two hours. Coffee and pepper growers were happy as their produce was withering due to extreme heat.

Hosapete taluk in Ballari district received heavy rains, accompanied by thunder and lightning.

Gadag received rain for an hour. Nargund town also received good rainfall.

Rains lashed parts of Mysuru, Mandya and Chamarjanagar districts on Saturday.

Gundlupet, Yalandur, Santemarahalli and Hanur received good rains.

Melapura, K?Shettihalli , Srirangapatna town, Baburayana Koppalu, Naguvanahalli, Chandagalu too received good rainfall.
