Bengaluru: BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje, who alongwith several other BJP leaders participated in the protests held at Bantwal on July 7 against the killings of Hindu activists has alleged that district in-charge minister Ramanath Rai and minister U T Khader are responsible for th communal unrest in the region, because they have been appeasing a particular community.
The recent spate of incidents where many Hindu activists have been killed are akin to the political killings witnessed in Kerala, said Karandlaje urging the Chief Minister to expel both the leaders from the Cabinet, if he wants peace to prevail in Dakshina Kannada region.
Further, she said that despite death threat made to RSS leader Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat via a Facebook post in a page attributed to ‘Mangalore Muslims, the police have not taken proper action as per the cyber laws.
