Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has again proved that he is the real boss in the state Congress unit. Based on his suggestion, AICC president Rahul Gandhi clipped the wings of DCM Dr. G Parameshwar and major irrigation minister DK Shivakumar.

On Wednesday, when AICC state in-charge KC Venugopal held a meeting on the allocation of the portfolios for the eight newly inducted ministers, both Parameshwar and DK Shivakumar declined to surrender their portfolios. Former CM Siddaramaiah wanted both ministers to surrender one of their portfolios. But now AICC president RaGa has approved Siddaramaiah’s suggestion and directed both the leaders to follow his suggestion.

It is said that Siddaramaiah and Dr. Parameshwar even had a war of words with regard to this issue recently.

With RaGa going by Siddaramaiah’s suggestion, one may have to wait and watch what awaits the Congress party in the future.
