Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday April 10 said that public sector anchor banks would be linked to provide bank loan to women self-help groups (SHGs).

He was speaking at a programme after participating in a Ramanavami celebrations in the City. As many as 3.9 lakh women will benefit from this programme. Rs. 500 Crore has been expended for the implementation of this programme,” CM said.

Women should be stakeholders in economic development, he stressed.
