Psychiatry hospital to conduct walkathon to help smokers kick the butt

Bengaluru: As a start to a fresh year, ‘People Tree Maarga’ and Bengaluru City Police have joined hands in organizing a unique walkathon to raise their voice against consumption of tobacco. Participants of the walkathon, ‘Fag End’ will be walked to urge smokers to kick the butt.

According to Bengaluru based psychiatry hospital ‘People Tree Maarga’, this quit smoking walkathon has the message, “Let’s start the new year on a fresh note by walking away from cigarettes.”

‘Fag End’ walkathon will be flagged off by Yelahanka MLA S R Vishwanath on Tuesday, January 3 at 10 AM at Yelahanka. Hundreds of people will be participating where in they will meet the public and drive the message to free smokers from shackles of cigarettes.
