Bengaluru: In a big embarrassment to the State Police force, the CID which is investigating the alleged corruption in the 545 Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) examination scam, arrested a PSI serving in a City Police Station from his station itself.

The name of the arrested PSI is withheld. He is the 2018 batch PSI.

He is facing the allegations of helping a candidate to get a PSI post by arranging middlemen. He reportedly received a commission for arranging this.

According to sources, CID has issued a notice to him to join the probe. As he did not join the probe, he has been arrested.
